A talented, smart, witty friend of mine is writing an (anonymous) blog in which she will try to…. have 30 dates in 30 days. Now, I know what you’re thinking: impossible, right? For most people, I’d say it is. But not for her. Trust me on this.
So check it out, and check back often because I think this will be a good one.
On this day, we hear a lot of grumblings about , “I’m single on Valentine’s Day.” “I don’t have a date for Valentine’s Day.” “This is my third year without a boyfriend on Valentine’s Day.”
But to me this day is about LOVE, in all forms. Love for your friends, your family, for your city, for travel, for the future, for whatever. Love takes so many different forms, and all of them should be appreciated. We’re lucky to even have the opportunity to find out what love feels like. I love it!
Hate to break it to you, but the big V-day isn’t all that far away. Less than a month. It can be a pretty stressful holiday, with the whole pressure to please thing going on.

This guy is based in Santa Barbara, I think. A dog, a cat, a rat. If they can do it, shouldn’t we be able to?
My family had cats and dogs. I wouldn’t say they got along, but they coexisted, which is more than I can say for a lot of people I know.
